Cosmological Constants – Cosmological Coincidence?

“But God made the earth by his power; he founded the world by his wisdom and stretched out the heavens by his understanding.” (Jeremiah 10:12)

The existence of everything in the cosmos depends on a variety of finely-tuned cosmological laws, constants, and formulae, each of which must fall within a very narrow range. In most cases, if a single mathematical variable was altered just slightly, life could not exist.

The scientific literature lists nearly 100 examples of these perfectly-calibrated values. They include the strong nuclear force constant, weak nuclear force constant, gravitational force constant, electromagnetic force constant, expansion rate of the universe, density rate of the universe, velocity of light, decay rate of protons, radiation uniformity, entropy levels, etc.

Not only are the cosmological constants remarkable in themselves, they also weave together in a perfect cosmological dance. For instance, the ratio of electromagnetic force to gravitational force, the ratio of space energy density to mass density, and the various ratios related to protons and electrons.

So, just how special are these cosmological interactions?

Let’s examine just one – the special relationship among subatomic particles – the structural basis of all matter. As a refresher, protons are the positively-charged particles that combine with neutrons to form the nucleus of an atom. Electrons are the negatively-charged particles that orbit the nucleus. Together, these subatomic particles comprise the structural elements of all atoms, starting with hydrogen (one proton and one electron) and continuing to bismuth (82 protons and 82 electrons). As an aside, there are now 117 observed chemical elements, but beyond bismuth, they are inherently unstable and subject to radioactive decay.

OK, back to our illustration…

By remarkable “cosmological coincidence” protons just happen to be 1,836 times larger than electrons. If this ratio was off just fractionally, atomic structure would be impossible. Not only is this size ratio perfectly calibrated, but the proton’s positive charge and the electron’s negative charge are perfectly balanced. Again, if this ratio was off just slightly, no molecules would be possible at any level of the periodic table.

And that’s just one…

Mainstream scientists point to the fact that all of the cosmological constants must be in place for life to exist – As if the universe knew we were coming. This miraculous cosmic perfection is known as the “Anthropic Principle.” When asked for a theory of origins related to this “Anthropic Principle,” mainstream science boldly proclaims, “We’re here, so it must have happened.”

Ask yourself, “What’s the probability that so many finely-tuned, cosmic constants would align so perfectly by cosmic chance at the beginning of the cosmos?”

  1. Your english, in The Word, is misaligned. The Proton is 1836 times more *massive* than the electron, not 1836 times “larger”. Many comment on design philosophy using the same old saws, in a sloppy syntax no less, which only leads to extremely high radiation levels of syntactical understanding. Extremely high radiation levels in syntax lead to political nuclear word-particle reactor meltdown in such argumentation. It is Such Poor Arguments like the 747 jet assembly argument against evolution, which grossly misleads due to the fact of the description actually requiring a field of jet parts 10^23 jets in size to reach avogadro’s constant, and a storm the size of that parts field, and autolinking particles to model molecular modularity like “LEGOS”.
